Justin's Approach
A decade of practice solely representing claimants has aided Justin in developing the ability to explain complex statutory provisions, judicial interpretations of those provisions, and the realities of the litigation process to injured workers in a manner that they can understand. This communication has been a critical component of Justin’s practice and is the foundation of his approach to mediation. Additionally, by taking a holistic perspective, he is able to find areas for compromise that the parties may not have previously considered.
Justin Lowery has over a decade of legal experience. His practice has been primarily focused on workers’ compensation. He is now using that experience to help parties resolve similar claims through mediation.
Justin is originally from Mobile, Alabama. He earned a degree in English from Auburn University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Following undergrad, he moved to Atlanta and worked for a company that helped fund local elementary schools. After deciding to pursue a legal career, he attended Emory University School of Law where he graduated with his J.D. in 2011.
Justin is happy to serve as your mediator in person at any of the IMS locations, in person at your office, or virtually via Zoom.
When he isn’t mediating, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, going to concerts, and cooking.

Mediation allows employers, insurers, and injured workers to take ownership in the outcome of the case. For injured workers, this means an earlier start to getting their lives back on track. For employers and insurers, this means effective and expedient risk management. Justin has partnered with Innovative Mediation Solutions and can be contacted on this site or on the Innovative Mediation Solutions website.
